Auckland Youth Orchestra have been regular visitors to Howick under their inspirational conductor Antun Poljanich. Their full-evening concert includes Sibelius’ Impromptu for Strings, Vaughan Williams’ Oboe Concerto in A minor with soloist Alex Wu and Tchaikovsky’s monumental Symphony No. 6 (Pathétique). The Youth Orchestra always presents a thrilling evening and this will be no exception.
