Alex Xuyao Bai (piano).
14 year-old pianist Alex Xuyao Bai has already made a significant impression with his outstanding national and international performances and top honours in competitions. In 2024 Alex won the Lewis Eady National Piano Competition, competing against pianists up to 26 years of age. He has been heard in concerts with the NZSO. He is a student of distinguished NZ pianist Stephen De Pledge and a pupil at Dilworth School.
